BinDrop PDX rents reusable 27-gallon plastic moving bins with lids, also called plastic moving boxes. We do not sell cardboard. Kits include hand trucks, standard delivery and pickup, and two weeks total from delivery.

BinDrop PDX rents clean, stackable plastic moving bins with reusable lids, hand trucks, delivery and pickup. You do not need to assemble or tape the bins, and we collect them after unpacking. Cardboard can be a better fit if you need to keep the containers, store belongings long-term, or move beyond our pickup area. Compare the full cost and rental timing for your own move; savings are not guaranteed.

10 bins: $89; 20 bins: $169; 40 bins: $239; 60 bins: $319 for a two-week rental. Every kit includes hand trucks, standard delivery and pickup. Extra weeks cost $40 for 10 bins, $60 for 20 bins, $80 for 40 bins, $100 for 60 bins per week. Optional equipment costs extra.

Use room sizes as a starting guide, not a guarantee. The 10 Bin Kit suits small projects, dorms and very small moves; the 20 Bin Kit is a guide for studios or 1–2 bedroom apartments; the 40 Bin Kit suits many 2–3 bedroom homes; and the 60 Bin Kit is for larger moves. Count what you actually need to pack and consider how much can travel outside bins. You pay for the kit you reserve, even if some bins are unused.

Delivery eligibility uses a ZIP check within 20 straight-line miles of Lake Oswego (97035), not driving distance or whole-city coverage. The ZIP check is not exact street-address verification. Our service pages cover Portland-area communities and qualifying Vancouver, WA addresses. Check your delivery ZIP and available dates; contact us before reserving if pickup will be at a different address. Outside our standard delivery area? Contact us — depending on your ZIP code, we may be able to accommodate you for an additional fee.

It depends on the move. Bins are useful for a local move with a defined unpacking schedule: they arrive ready to pack, stack together, and are collected afterward. Cardboard is useful when you need different box sizes, want to keep the boxes, or are moving outside our service area. BinDrop rents bins; we do not sell cardboard boxes.

Choose a kit and an available delivery date at least 2 days ahead. We deliver your clean bins between 8 AM and 12 PM. The standard rental is 14 days total from delivery, covering packing, moving and unpacking. Paid weekly extensions are available. Have empty bins and rental equipment ready by 11 AM on your scheduled pickup date.

After bins are returned, we clean them with an industrial soap cleaning solution, rinse them, let them dry, and then spray them with hypochlorous acid (HOCl).

Delivery requires at least 2 days' notice and an available date with sufficient stock. Plan ahead when possible, but reserve early rather than automatically taking delivery early: the two-week rental starts on delivery day. Check and reserve available dates in the booking calendar.
